Enabling the screen recording capability in iOS’s Control Centre is the first step in using it. Find the More Controls area by navigating to Settings > Control Centre and scrolling down. Next, locate Screen Recording and press the plus sign next to it.

Is It Possible to Capture a FaceTime Call on Video?
There is currently no way to record a FaceTime call on an iPhone while the audio is playing.

Any third-party screen recording software, or even the iPhone’s built-in screen recorder, will only capture the screen and not the audio, which renders the app useless for recording calls.

In addition to FaceTime, there are others. Take Google Meet as an example; the web client is the only way to capture audio from a meeting. Using an iPhone won’t work in the same way.

Alternative apps like Riverside are available for consideration if you find yourself in the necessity to record video calls on your iPhone. Riverside claims that there are no hidden barriers to using their software for video conversations with audio.

Record Your iPhone’s Screen Using Third-Party Apps
Although iOS’s native screen recording capability is adequate, you may wish to explore a third-party app that provides more functionality. Our suggestions are as follows.

Make a Record!! Record the screen

Launch the Record It app and go to the screen where you may choose the video source. Using the app’s video recording setup in Use the Record It app.

You can make screencasts of your reactions and comments with the aid of the Record it! software. You have the option to either play a pre-existing video on your iPhone or import a URL from YouTube. Afterwards, it will capture your interaction with the material on your screen by means of your iPhone’s front camera.

In case you need to cut your footage, alter the canvas size, add backdrop colour, and do a lot more, the software also has a basic video editor.
